Case Study
One of the most frequently used features in DANA is the money transfer feature. However, sometimes users find it difficult to manage their expenses because all their balances are in one place.
To solve this problem, we propose a new feature called partitioning. This feature allows users to divide their balance into sections based on their function or purpose. For example, users can create partitions for shopping, eating, transportation, and savings.
Problem(s)
The main challenge
The young generation has difficulty managing finances, despite digital services. Data shown by BCA 39% young generation already good at managing finances, 61% familiar with financial management topics, and sadly 34% confused and don't understand how to manage finances.
Goal(s)
The objectives that need to be achieved
Make it easy for users to manage their expenses. With this feature, users can easily see how much money they are spending on each expense category
Solution(s)
The proposed solution
The partition feature would allow user to create separate partitions for each of their spending categories, making it easier to track their spending. This new feature would also allow user to set budget goals for each of their spending categories, helping them to stay on track. Last but not least, this feature would make it easy for user to see how much she has spent in each category, helping them to identify areas where they may need to cut back.
